Every time I watch this, I pick out more little things that could be call backs to earlier EXO releases/the whole EXOplanet lore situation, which then gets my brain going all sparky. I blame the silver and black tank top this time. If you've watched early EXO MVs, you'll know why. 😉 And if you haven't, search up EXO-K MAMA and just accept the cringe.

As an aside.... we know my health has been crap since this was added to the SotD schedule back when it was first released. In mid-March. And the only reason it wasn't pushed down even further is my switching to actively trying to post 2+ songs a day as much as I can to try to catch up. 😅

It's basically the same MV, just with Mandarin lip sync slotted in where the Korean version had those performance parts. Which is an unfortunate missed opportunity to do more storytelling. I don't know if someone got lazy or someone just couldn't be bothered to script out a whole second MV. Either way, it makes me sad that they didn't do more.

EXO - Lightsaber

Not sure giving any of those boys the ability to use a lightsaber would be wise, but especially not Baekhyun or Kai. On the other hand, from a strictly marketing point of view, it made sense to feature them as two of the more popular members.
